SAAB R6 GPS

The R6 NAV GNSS system is Saab’s latest GNSS product, built around the newly launched MkIII sensor, combined with the new R6 Control and Display Unit (CDU).

This sensor features a state-of-the-art receiver, delivering more robust, accurate, and reliable navigation than ever before.

The upgraded receiver is capable of receiving significantly more signals in parallel, with the processing power to handle more than twice the number of channels.

The new CDU is equipped with a modern 7-inch high-resolution touchscreen (1024×600), delivering accurate colors from any viewing angle.

This CDU will be used with both Saab’s GNSS/DGNSS systems and AIS systems.
