Furuno FA170

The Furuno FA170P is an AIS transponder equipped with a 4.3-inch color LCD display.
It shows symbols representing AIS-equipped vessels, AIS-SARTs, coastal stations, and other navigation aids within VHF range.

AIS data can be transmitted to an ECDIS, radar, or other navigation systems to assist in collision avoidance.

The FA170P includes 6 input/output ports, 3 input-only ports, a LAN port, and an alarm output port (dry contact).

The unit is BAM-ready (Bridge Alert Management), in compliance with the specific requirements defined in IMO MSC.302(87).
An optional Pilot Plug is also available.
